Job description

At Jungheinrich, we’re looking for a passionate and results-driven System Sales Engineer to manage and develop our Logistics Systems sales efforts in Singapore.

The Role

As a System Sales Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Logistics Systems portfolio. This includes pre-sales and sales activities for cutting-edge products like System Trucks, Racking Solutions, Warehouse Equipment, and AGVs. Your mission? Increase market awareness, elevate our brand image, and boost revenue through innovative cross-selling and upselling strategies.

You’ll collaborate closely with account managers, providing expert technical support while building strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with account teams to bring System products to life for clients.
  • Own the sales process—from inquiry to closing—alongside account managers.
  • Provide consulting, drawing, configuration, calculation, and contract management for system solutions.
  • Achieve sales objectives by contributing to strategic plans and preparing actionable goals.
  • Actively support account managers while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Share your knowledge by training teams on System products, features, and solutions.
  • Build relationships with new customers while supporting and growing existing accounts.

What we look for:

  • Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
  • Minimally 5 years of experience in sales and/or project functions, ideally within a technical or logistics-focused industry
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD for creating and interpreting technical drawings
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Proven skills in fostering and maintaining strong relationships to drive sales growth
  • Capable of analyzing sales trends, site requirements, tender documents, and customer challenges
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential. Conversant in other regional languages such as Bahasa or Mandarin is an added advantage
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving sales targets
  • Considering the nature of the role, access to a personal vehicle is key for travel to customer sites and meetings.
