Together, We Can Make A Significant Impact
You will be a member of our company system safety team to develop crucial safety programs, conduct hazard analysis and risk assessment to enable our systems to conform to safety standards, requirements and be assessed to be safe for operations by our customer end users. You will be working closely with our project and product teams comprising system designers, developers, test engineers and managers to implement safety requirements for our projects and in-house developed products & services to our customers.
Be Part of Our Success
- Report to Lead, System and Software Safety
- Develop system safety program plan, hazard analyses and risk assessment documents, safety assessment report and hazard logs based on company process, and/or contracted system safety requirements for projects and/or in-house products
- Facilitate system safety assessment and analysis with project system safety working groups in identifying the potential hazards and their system safety requirements based on system design and tabulate them in the hazard analysis document
- Facilitate and seek technical endorsement to finalize the system safety requirements with company and customer safety review boards before system design freeze
- Perform Safety Verification and Validation (V&V) to ensure the conformity of the system safety requirements and record the evidence in the hazard log document
- Facilitate and seek endorsement for safety assessment report with company and customer safety review boards
- Submit monthly project system safety status report and updates to Project Manager, System Safety Leads and Department Manager
Qualities We Value
- At least 2 years working experience in software/communication/electronic/electrical/mechanical project environment as system, project or engineering support
- Good presentation, leadership and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess strong ability to work within a team
- Working location is in Jurong East
- Singaporeans Only
- With the following experiences/qualifications would be an advantage:
- JIRA tool or any tasks/issues tracking tool
- Experience in reading and understanding system/software design documents
- Good understanding in MIL-STD-882 and IEEE 12207 standards
- Basic knowledge in following standards:
- MIL-STD-1472/MIL-STD-209/IEC 62040/UL1778/UL2054/UN38.3/IEEE C95.1/MIL-STD-464/NAVSEA OP 3565/ISO IEC 7498
- Singapore Standards:
- Code of Practice for Working Safely at Heights
- Code of Practice for Electrical Installation
- Code of Practice for Manual Handling
