System IT Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for day-to-day IT operations and provide full technical support to ad-hoc/maintenance customer for all set-up, installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance, troubleshooting, migration of desktops/notebooks PCs' hardware/software, data and associated peripherals;
2. Possess basic experience in LAN/WAN network administration of CLI switches, firewall administration and wireless access point;
3. Ability to diagnose and recommend solutions for technical issues promptly. Respond and coordinate system fault recovery activities and cyber security incidents;
4. Deploy, manage and maintain software and database;
5. Apply patches, upgrades and configuration or other procedures as required;
6. Control and maintain files access permission on servers;
7. Manage proper backup is performed and restored in periodically basis;
8. Implementation and upkeep of IT security policies;
9. Manage IT inventory control and all requisition matters;
10. Play an advisory role to Management on technical problems, IT upgrading and trends;
11. Must be able to travel all over the island;
12. Other work assigned by Manager.

Requirements:

1. Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Degree;
2. Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent;
3. Minimum 2 years of working experience in IT infrastructure and/or the related field;
4. CCNA/CCNP certification is an added advantage;
5. Familiar with Microsoft OS (XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, 2003, 2008 and 2012), server support in end user environment, Active Directory, Backup Executive, Firewall and Switches, SQL database;
6. Knowledge in network management and troubleshooting;
7. Well-organised, able to prioritize work tasks and execute with minimal supervision, responsible;
8. Keen to learn, explore, disciplined. Able to think 'out-of-the-box' and have an aptitude for innovation and problem solving;
9. Good communication skills, positive attitude, team player, resourceful and resolve problems independently;
10. Possess Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
