System Engineer (Presales) Dell, EMC, NetApp, VMWare, Cisco

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the sales team to identify customer business needs.
• Offer consulting services to clients, understanding their requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
• Support the sales team in responding to technical specifications in tenders and RFPs by providing system configurations and recommendations.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations both internally and externally on various product solutions related to enterprise data management technologies.
• Plan, design, and architect solutions, ensuring they align with industry standards and best practices.
• Install and optimize solutions for Proof of Concept (POC) and customer evaluations.
• Ensure a seamless handover of customer requirements and solutions from the presales team to the implementation team.
• Resolve technical inquiries by conducting analysis and research, leveraging competitive insights to highlight the advantages of our solution.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and product releases through continuous training and participation in seminars and programs.
• Act as a mentor to junior SEs and provide technical consultancy to the internal sales team to enhance their technical expertise.

Requirements:

• A diploma in IT with relevant Presales experience working in SI environment.
• Experience in data storage and backup solutions like Dell, EMC, NetApp, HPE, Pure, Veritas, Commvault, Cohesity, etc.
• Good knowledge in Enterprise IT Infrastructure solution architecture and virtualization solutions like VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, Nutanix, etc.
• Proficient in multi-tiered IT architecture solution design.
• Conversant with the current solution offerings of the major vendors such as Dell, NetApp, VMware, Cisco, etc.
