How you succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to be a technical specialist with a deep understanding of payment systems and open-system platforms. You'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver projects and solutions and collaborate with product vendors to ensure technical excellence. Your ability to analyze complex technical issues, design and develop solutions, and provide support to system and performance management will be key to your success.
What you do
- Work closely with key stakeholders to deliver projects and solutions
- Collaborate with product vendors to analyze change requests, review system design, and ensure compliance with technology architecture standards
- Develop programs and scripts to support system development and testing
- Provide support to SIT and UAT, investigate and resolve technical issues reported in projects
- Plan and commission production system implementation
- Develop technical documents and other System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) related documents, and Agile documents
Qualifications
Who you are
- Preferably with an Information Technology / Engineering / Computer Science related degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system / software development, preferably with exposure to SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong Remittance (Tandem and IBAS Platform) product knowledge to design payment flows and provide solutions
- Strong experience in working with real-time local and cross-border payment schemes
- Possess technical knowledge in UNIX (preferably AIX), UNIX shell scripting, Oracle database, SQL, Java, XML, WebLogic, IBM MQSeries, and Cobol in HP Nonstop
- Experience in DevOps tools Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, etc. is a plus
- Positive (can-do) working attitude, willing to hands-on, with resilience and good adaptability to take on different challenging assignments, and able to multi-task
- Effective and has good self-initiative to learn and excel individually and as a team
- Good soft skills in communication, writing, presentation, etc.
