System Analyst - 3 years contract - East

We are representing our IT Solutions provider client in seeking an experienced System Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering IT solutions and supporting projects across various domains, including mobile apps and websites, with a focus on cloud technologies and database management.

System Analyst – 3 years contract.

Responsibilities

1. Understand business processes and collaborate with users to design and develop end-to-end solutions.
2. Provide advice and assistance to business users for effective use of application systems and IT.
3. Manage application development projects to ensure implementation within budget and schedule.
4. Design quality, functional solutions to ensure an excellent user experience.
5. Monitor application performance and work with stakeholders to troubleshoot production issues.
6. Collaborate with technical, solution, and information architects to align with Enterprise Architecture.
7. Produce comprehensive technical documentation for application systems.
8. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure efficiency and data integrity.
9. Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in application development using technologies such as Mobile, Web, OOP, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Mainframe.
3. Proven experience in Project Management with the ability to manage user expectations and meet deadlines.
4. Knowledge of Scrum/DevOps concepts and CI/CD tools like GitLab, Confluence, JIRA, SonarQube.
5. Familiarity with Cloud, microservices architecture, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Keen interest in IT, programming, and system design.
7. Strong understanding of SDLC and secure coding practices to prevent application vulnerabilities.
8. Experience in application integration with government services such as CorPass, SingPass.
9. A pass in ICT Assessment Certification for Software Developer by NUS-ISS is required.
