SVP – Financial Reporting

We are currently partnering with a leading financial services firm who offer financing solutions for global infrastructure projects. They are looking to hire a candidate into their finance team with responsibility for all aspects of Financial Reporting.

This role will be responsible for supporting the following:

• Maintain full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and complete records for stand-alone entities and Group consolidation.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to Senior Management.
• Act as subject matter expert in group consolidation and securitisation accounting, with strong knowledge of financial instruments and capital/operating expenditure standards.
• Oversee Service Company cost allocation, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing rules.
• Collaborate with tax agents to ensure accurate, timely completion of transfer pricing documentation.
• Maintain strong understanding of corporate tax and transfer pricing rules, ensuring accurate tax reporting in coordination with tax agents.
• Oversee timely completion of annual audited financial statements.
• Manage all Group tax matters, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, GST, and withholding tax.
• Maintain an efficient tax structure, leveraging applicable tax concessions and schemes.
• Continuously review and enhance existing workflows for efficiency.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Degree in Accountancy, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial reporting within Big 4 audit or Financial Services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), group consolidation, accounting principles, and corporate tax, transfer pricing.
