Designs and implements tailored sustainability strategies and decarbonization pathways for private fund asset portfolios, aligning with overarching sustainability objectives.
Supports fundraising efforts by emphasizing the organization's ESG strengths, responding to investor queries, and completing due diligence tasks, including participation in surveys like GRESB and UNPRI.
Conducts environmental data analysis at the portfolio level, assesses the social and environmental impacts of investments, and guides alignment with sustainability goals.
Acts as a senior ESG ambassador at industry events, panels, and workshops, positioning the organization as a thought leader in sustainability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related technical field.
At least 15 years of experience, with a focus on sustainability roles in areas like private equity, fund management, corporate leadership, or consulting. Real estate-related experience is a plus.
Proficiency in global sustainability standards, carbon accounting frameworks, ESG benchmarking tools, and relevant regulations in key operational markets.
Strong strategic and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse teams around common sustainability goals.
Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to travel internationally when required.
