1. Projects Management & Strategy Implementation
Coordinate the development, implementation, and periodic review of the company’s sustainability strategy.
Translate priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones, metrics, and ownership.
Oversee the execution of cross-functional sustainability projects in areas such as responsible sourcing, supplier engagement, and capacity building.
2. Customer Engagement & ESG Advisory
Act as the primary point of contact for customer ESG engagements, including sustainability due diligence, data requests, and audits.
Represent the company in ESG discussions with key commercial partners and platforms (e.g., GPSNR etc).
Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of sustainability information to meet customer and regulatory expectations (e.g., EUDR etc.).
3. ESG Reporting and Disclosures
Manage the development and delivery of the company’s annual sustainability report, ensuring alignment with international reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.).
Oversee the company’s responses to sustainability ratings, platforms, and regulatory disclosures (e.g., EcoVadis, SPOTT, GPSNR).
Review, edit, and approve ESG communications and submissions prepared by team members.
4. Team Collaboration & Capacity Building
Contribute to team learning and development of sustainability staff competencies across subsidiaries.
Review technical work products (e.g., audit findings, geospatial analysis, ESG responses) for accuracy and relevance.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the department.
Requirements:
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in corporate sustainability, ESG consulting, supply chain due diligence, or a related field.
A degree in Sustainability, Public Policy/Political Science, Geography/Environmental Science or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualification is a plus.
Strong command of ESG reporting standards and sustainability frameworks (GPSNR, GRI, SPOTT, EcoVadis, etc.)
Project management experience, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination
Familiarity with supply chain traceability and geospatial tools is an advantage.
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Strategic mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working independently and guiding others
Business travel expected (approximately 10–20%)
Beyond English communication, multilingual proficiency is an advantage as the role involves regular interaction with counterparts in Asia, Europe and Africa.
