Job Description

Role Overview

Assist Site Manager to establish the horizontal and vertical control to ensure the project is built within the tolerance of the design.

Duties and Responsibility

1. Overall responsible for the land surveying task.
2. To perform levelling, traversing, setting-out point, survey data collecting, layout, map and field of topographic surveying, boundary surveys etc.
3. Working closely with the engineering and construction team to meet the survey work required.
4. Manage and plan the land surveying work schedule to ensure all drawings are accurate for survey work and approved by relevant teams.
5. Ensure correctness of build-up according to construction plans and drawing. Verify accuracy of survey data, measurement and calculations.
6. Carry out as-built surveys, and settlement monitoring for buildings.
7. Prepare and submit pre and post construction drawings if necessary.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities

1. Strong oral and written communication skills.
2. Proficiency with Autocad, Land Project Development Software or other processing software, any BIM related software, Microsoft Office, etc.
3. Must be a team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
4. Good time management and independent skills.
5. Able to cope in a fast-paced environment. Possess good leadership and organizing abilities and be prepared to work long hours when necessary.
6. Manage and maintain all survey instruments and survey data and records well.
7. Class 3 Singapore driving license.
8. Singapore land surveyor certificate.

Background, Experience

1. 1 year of project surveying skills and 1 year working on-site using surveying equipment.
2. Experience in carrying out project surveys in commercial/residential/plant/civil work.
3. Competency in using survey instruments and surveying software.

Education

Diploma in land surveying, Geology/Geophysics or Civil Engineering preferred with relevant land surveying working experience.
