The Supply Chain & Logistics Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of supply chain and logistics activities within our organization. This role involves managing inventory levels, overseeing replenishment and shipments, handling financial documentation, and maintaining seamless operations. The Specialist will work closely with cross-functional and operations teams to prevent production outages and ensure accurate and timely inbound and outbound shipment processes, including billing.

Your Responsibilities

Process and System Management

  • Set up and manage business processes and systems for the logistics of raw materials, intermediate and semi-finished products, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control.

Material Handling and Compliance

  • Ensure materials are handled according to validated requirements for transportation, storage, receipt, and issuing.
  • Oversee logistics operations for hazardous raw materials, including receiving, sampling, storage, and issuance.

Warehouse Operations

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure compliance with quality and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct and plan inventory checks and cycle count to maintain accuracy.

Data Management

  • Perform data entry into SAP and other databases, ensuring compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Process raw materials for return, rejection, and/or destruction.

Documentation and Procedures

  • Update and maintain standard operating procedures and forms as required.
  • Conduct environmental checks, and manage record creation, collection, and storage.

Compliance and Representation

  • Ensure follow-up and support for department non-conformities and deviations to closure.
  • Represent the supply chain department in interdepartmental meetings and lead regulatory and compliance inspections.

EHS and Regulatory Adherence

  • Achieve the site’s Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) performance objectives by adhering to EHS rules and local regulations (NEA, SCDF, SPF, HSA).

Leadership and Development

  • Lead, motivate, and support peers or direct reports to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Foster continuous learning and create developmental opportunities for staff.
  • Oversee the training assignments and completion for supply chain personnel.

Performance Metrics

  • Establish, maintain, and report on weekly and monthly Performance Health Indicators (PHIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Project Management

  • Lead and drive supply chain improvement projects, including investigating, analyzing, formulating solutions, documenting processes, and communicating results.
  • Create Purchase Requests as needed and follow up through the billing process with Finance.

Physical Work

  • Engage in physical tasks at the warehouse and cleanroom based on operational needs.

Your Profile

  • Diploma or equivalent in Logistics / Supply Chain or relevant work experience.
  • 5 years of working experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment in a supply chain or inventory management related role preferred; experience in cGMP environment is a plus.
  • 2 years of people management/leadership is a plus.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment in a supply chain or inventory management related role preferred, experience in cGMP & GDP environment.
  • Previous work experience in a regulated or manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with various levels.
  • Possess working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull and be able to use material handling equipment such as push carts, pallet jacks and MHE.
  • Well versed in SAP & Microsoft application.
