Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspection of new parts and advance inspection planning for NPI projects.
• Interface between the internal factories globally in terms of material quality.
• Work closely with supplier quality engineers in Asia and Europe.
• First article and incoming inspection on mechanical and electrical parts.
• Support R&D for prototype inspection and internal calibration for gages, jigs, and fixtures.
• CMM programming for new parts and GOM or other optical inspection for prototype parts.
• Supplier source audit and assist engineers in non-conformance management.
• Train interns and ensure suppliers use the right equipment for inspection.
• Other admin work related to supplier quality, including purchase requests.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITE in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of similar experience in original equipment manufacturing/contract manufacturing.
• CMM programming skill, preferably Zeiss, and calibration process knowledge.
• Drawing knowledge, preferably Advanced Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing knowledge.
• Preferably inspection knowledge on PCBA, cable, and other electrical parts.
