As a Strategic Sales Manager for Asia, you will be joining an established team of highly skilled sales professionals who operate with a consultative approach to sell high value, high complexity solutions. Based in Singapore and reporting into our APAC Chief Commercial Officer, you will work in close partnership with the platform solutions team and take the lead on executing defined sales strategies into major financial institutions across Asia (ex Japan).

We are searching for an experienced Sales Manager who is able to drive growth through identifying and qualifying strategic sales opportunities, then leading the client and FNZ through complex sales processes by creating meaningful internal and external relationships. To achieve success in this role, you will need a solid understanding of our FNZ suite of propositions along with a proven track record of sales in a similar role, preferably within the wealth management industry. A big part of this role is being able to originate meaningful conversations with conviction and credibility and operating with a level of resilience and enthusiasm through the ups and downs of long sales processes.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Originating and thoroughly qualifying new sales opportunities.
  • Lead customer specific presentations in partnership with the Platform Solutions team which really understand how we can solve known issues in the business.
  • Be accountable for the full lifecycle of a complex sales process.
  • Foster positive working relationships with prospective clients with confidence to have business discussions at CEOs and their C-Level on a regular basis.
  • Have a good understanding of the value of change to be able to deliver customer specific, compelling, price propositions.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with the FNZ APAC Senior Leadership and cross functional teams to confidently transverse internal stakeholders which can help a sales process.
  • Influence and drive Asia GTM strategy.
  • Take the lead on commercial and contracting obligations.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate:

  • 15+ years’ experience in sales and relationship management in the Wealth Management sector with significant experience in Asia.
  • Experience selling complex software or outsourcing solutions with a track record of success exceeding revenue targets.
  • Proven leadership qualities with the ability to build constructive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive networker who is able to identify opportunities and originate strategically valuable deals through structured qualification.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management and investment administration subject matter including project delivery processes.
