As the Strategic Planning and Commercial Operations Lead, you will oversee strategic initiatives across both business and technology functions, while managing a high-performing and multidisciplinary team. You will lead projects such as product launches, business planning, as well as organisational and operational optimization, collaborating closely with stakeholders across product, R&D, sales, marketing, legal and PR, etc. This role is critical in ensuring business planning and execution is aligned with the company’s overall strategic objectives.

  1. Lead, coach, and develop the team, fostering best practices and building a high-performing country-level business planning and project management function.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis to proactively identify opportunities for organisational and operational improvements.
  3. Partner with senior leadership teams to define and prioritise initiatives based on strategic goals and available resources.
  4. Conduct regular reviews to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time, and in line with best practices.
  5. Collaborate with go-to-market (GTM) teams to support strategic planning and facilitate execution through effective project management.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  7. Prepare and present clear strategic updates and business reviews to senior leadership.
  8. Support broader team management functions, including budgeting, recruitment, and internal communications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, or related fields.
  2. Fluent in both Mandarin and English in a professional work environment, due to close business collaborations and frequent communications with stakeholders across SEA and APAC & J regions.
  3. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, strategy consulting, or sales operations in a fast-paced environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  4. Direct experience in managing strategic initiatives and go-to-market planning/operations, particularly within the SEA and APAC & J regions.
  5. Experience working in a software, technology, or cloud-related company, with familiarity across Cloud, SaaS, AI, and the broader tech landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 8 years’ experience in project management, strategy consulting, or sales operations in a fast-paced environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
  2. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively.
  3. Previous experience working in top-tier consulting firms or Fortune 500 in-house strategy teams.
