Storekeeper

Job Description

1. Perform store activities that include receiving, issuing, inventory counting, housekeeping, and data entry.
2. Overall management of the warehouse to ensure the stocks are in order, well labelled, accountable, and the stock amount is correct.
3. Picking and delivering goods using stacker, pallet jack, and forklift.
4. Carry out inventory cycle counts as required.
5. Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient working environment, with daily housekeeping mandatory.
6. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Warehouse Assistant or in a relevant field.
2. Excellent organisational skills.
3. Ability to work methodically and quickly.
4. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
5. Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
6. Ability to stand for long hours.
7. Must be able to carry heavy items weighing 20kg and above.
8. Forklift License/Certification and Class 3 Driving License will be an added advantage.
9. Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and word processing software.
