Store Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
Implement and monitor store policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandise organization.
Ensure that the store is fully stocked with products and that merchandise displays are aligned with company standards.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and onboard new store employees.
Provide ongoing coaching and development for store staff to ensure high performance.
Manage employee schedules and allocate resources efficiently to meet business needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring the team is motivated and engaged.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Resolve any employee issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
Sales & Customer Service:
Drive store sales by creating and executing strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by leading by example in providing excellent customer service.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
Promote store promotions, sales events, and loyalty programs to maximize customer engagement.
Inventory Management:
Track and manage inventory to prevent stockouts and minimize excess stock.
Perform regular stock counts, order products, and work with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Coordinate product deliveries and ensure that merchandise is received and stored properly.
Monitor shrinkage (theft or loss of inventory) and implement measures to reduce it.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage the store's budget, ensuring expenses are kept within targets.
Analyze financial reports (e.g., sales, expenses, profitability) and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure that the store operates within profit margins and meets financial goals.
Maintain cash handling procedures, including cash register management and daily reconciliation of transactions.
Visual Merchandising:
Ensure product displays align with company standards and seasonal promotions.
Collaborate with the marketing or visual merchandising team to create appealing store layouts and displays.
Keep up-to-date with product trends and ensure the store's visual presentation reflects the latest offerings.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure the store complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
Implement store security measures and ensure the safety of both employees and customers.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements (e.g., labor laws, product labeling).
Reporting and Administration:
Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance, sales metrics, and operational issues.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, employee performance, and other business-related documentation.
Communicate any significant issues or opportunities to upper management in a timely manner.
