Store Keeper / Store Handler - (Aviation/Aerospace)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Store Handler to join our aviation team.

As a Store Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aviation supply chain by managing inventory, handling stock, and maintaining accurate records.

This position requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming aviation parts, equipment, and supplies
2. Organize and store items in appropriate locations within the warehouse or storage facility
3. Prepare accurate documentation, such as receiving reports, inventory records, and shipping manifests
4. Maintain inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure accuracy
5. Perform routine inspections of stored items to identify and report any damage or discrepancies
6. Coordinate with the procurement team to fulfill internal requisitions in a timely manner
7. Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed
8. Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management processes
10. Assist in the implementation of inventory control measures and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in aviation logistics is a plus
2. Previous experience as a store handler or in a similar inventory management role, preferably in the aviation industry
3. Familiarity with aviation parts, tools, and equipment
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation
6. Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
7. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required
9. Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and compliance is desirable

Salary Package:

Location: Changi/Seletar/PLA

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800-1730
