Overview of the role

You will be accountable for regional and local oversight and compliance to SAFE, GAAP/legal requirements and internal controls across Global Skin Sector. The role operates at the Global level and also provides support to specific Business Units/markets. This role engages with the regional and local leadership teams on clarity of governance priorities, governance agendas, external legal requirements, internal stewardship focus areas, timely and quality audit completion, and quality remediation to all issues. This role is also responsible for conducting self-audits as needed to improve governance systems and build capability of the total organization.

Your team

This role reports to the Finance Vice President and works closely with the Multifunction leadership team on stewardship and governance priorities. This role will manage a team of 2 direct reportees.

How success looks like

  • Seen as the trusted advisor to evaluate governance/stewardship issues, anticipate questions, and demonstrate excellent analytical skills to define and mitigate risks.
  • Strengthen regional and local market controls and processes to actively manage potential areas of risk.
  • Providing leadership across self-audit and company audit processes to build capability of the organization and remediate systemic outages.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Responsible for Global oversight and compliance to internal P&G stewardship guidelines and internal controls across Global Skin business units.
  • Engages with the LT on clarity of governance priorities, governance agendas, external legal requirements, timely and quality CSA completion, and quality remediation to all issues (CSA and GIA).
  • Responsible for conducting self-audits as needed and influencing policy, interacting with external auditors and authorities when needed.
  • Provide consultation on policies and processes to market SPOCs.
  • Lead issue identification and remediation across markets.
  • Act as subject matter expert in policies, risk assessment, and giving guidance on governance for go-to-market changes in various markets.
  • Lead business leadership on topline growth and value creation including initiatives, collaborating with multifunction teams.

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of relevant financial experience including 4+ years in managing Enterprise Risk assessment, Selling Governance, and subject matter expertise on policy consultation and associated risks.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge of statutory accounting principles.
  • Ability to multitask and work in an exciting fast-paced environment.
  • Maturity, integrity, and a high level of discretion are required.
  • Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve sophisticated problems.
  • Strong presence with the ability to interact with senior leadership.
  • Stewardship, governance, or internal audit experience.
  • Experience with CPG or Skin Care including familiarity with regulated product approach.
