Staff Nurse (Vision Care)

Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Optometrist that offers tailored Vision care services. They are currently looking for an experienced Staff Nurse to join their growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

• Prepare ophthalmic surgical equipment and assist in procedures
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and instructions to patients and caregivers
• Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards in delivering safe and competent patient care
• Perform front counter duties including patient registration, dispensing, booking of operating theatres, collection of payment, providing financial counselling, handling of enquiries through phone calls or email, and appointment fixing
• Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor

The Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Nursing from institutions with a Practicing Certificate (Registered Nurse) approved by the Singapore Nursing Board
• Prior operating theatre or ophthalmic nursing experience will be advantageous
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and positive working attitude
• Keen learner with optometry, biotech or bioengineering background will be considered
