Staff Nurse

Job Description:

1. Provide front-line service to patients and visitors pro-actively.
2. Perform reception duties such as registration of patients, answering phone and email queries, scheduling of appointments.
3. Perform billing and cashier duties.
4. Chaperone doctors and assist them in the room when performing physical examinations on patients.
5. Check clinic stock inventory.
6. Assist doctors in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients.
7. Assist in the collection of samples and maintain records of patients' medical histories and symptoms.
8. Educate patients on how to properly manage their condition at home.
9. Monitor vital signs and administer medication.
10. Assist doctors with minor procedures.
11. Prepare patients for admission.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Nursing.
2. Registered with Singapore Nursing Board (Valid SNB).
3. Able to work with a team of doctors, managers, finance department, and other employees of the company.
4. Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Proactive and self-motivated.
6. Good knowledge in office IT skills.
7. Able to multi-task and prioritize.
8. Previous experience in OB/GYN or Ophthalmology nursing or related field preferred.
