DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Worldwide Data Strategy for AI team within Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver an overall data strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon's cloud computing platform for Database, Analytics, AIML, and Generative AI. Your responsibilities will include helping to define key customers and industries to target, driving the necessary business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in those accounts and industries, and enabling the sales team to drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business opportunities. You'll also work closely with the product/service teams to help them evolve the products/services and address issues, concerns, and requests from the field.

Key job responsibilities

1. Support the Global Data Strategy for AI team in driving AWS data strategy for customer data and AI transformations.
2. Provide business and technical expertise to identify cross-platform solutions for comprehensive use cases.
3. Assist in building cross-platform demos to showcase AWS capabilities.
4. Deliver Executive Briefing Center (EBC) thought leadership engagements across CxO/VP levels.
5. Collaborate with regional account teams and professional services to develop and support lighthouse customers utilizing AWS Data and AI platform services.
6. Engage with customer line of business decision makers and technical teams to influence AWS wins and accelerate customer business outcomes.
7. Work with service teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product development.
8. Attend industry trade shows and marketing events to represent AWS and differentiate our value proposition.
9. Support internal teams to increase AWS data and AI revenue throughout the company.
10. Collaborate with other internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging of AWS data and AI solutions.
11. Develop industry content around data, analytics, and AI focused on both business and technical personas.

1. Bachelor's degree
2. Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
3. Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
4. 6+ years of consulting, presales, enterprise selling, and/or program/product management experience specifically supporting analytics and AI/ML initiatives
5. Experience working with big data, business intelligence, generative AI, and other analytics technology
6. Expertise around Industry data use cases and ability to translate LoB requirements to a technical solution.

2. Experience in working in a matrixed organization.
3. Understanding and experience in business initiatives requiring data-driven solutions.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
6. Experience working with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, IBM Netezza, Hadoop, Spark or other data warehouse, data lake or databases.
7. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and building scalable analytics solutions on AWS such as Amazon SageMaker, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda. Experience with other programming languages is a plus.
8. Experience with Design Thinking/Working Backwards methodologies.
