As a Sr. Program Manager, you will be pivotal in translating Micron’s Global Procurement (GP) strategic objectives into actionable program roadmaps, delivering measurable benefits. You will serve as the single point of contact for specific category groups within GP, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Additionally, you will manage the market intelligence unit within the Strategic Cost Management (SCM) team and other SCM initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost savings programs, ensuring organizational alignment and optimizing category performance.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage monthly and quarterly cost reviews, business unit engagements, and cost savings planning and target setting.
  • Apply project management and organizational change management concepts to achieve GP strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate and actively participate in the growth of the market intelligence unit, supervising project progress, risks, and changes; taking corrective or proactive steps as needed.
  • Manage ad-hoc special projects and lead global, cross-functional initiatives supporting GP and company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Management, Project Management, Finance, Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • Over 5 years of program management experience, preferably in procurement or supply chain.
    • Effective leadership and collaboration abilities.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders.
    • Experience working effectively in a global and diverse team environment.
    • Expertise in semiconductor assembly and test, and semiconductor materials.
  • Skills and Communication:
    • Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong business and commercial acumen.
    • Independently lead strategic cost transformation projects.
    • Clearly outline project goals and their impact on Global Procurement.
    • Facilitate project missions, objectives, key tasks, and resource requirements.
    • Develop benchmarks and frameworks to monitor project progress, risks, and changes; taking corrective or proactive steps as needed.
    • Maintain positive relationships with peers and managers in other functional areas, responding to issues promptly.
    • Deliver effective presentations to both small and large groups on project updates and new initiatives. Experience in preparations of senior leadership slides a plus.
    • Regularly update management on area goals and progress, seeking assistance to remove obstacles.
    • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for different cultures and languages.
