Overall understanding of program, how each business unit connects with one another and explore business opportunities within each.
Responsible for developing strategies to improve operational performance, monitoring, & evaluating the effectiveness of those strategies.
Assist in CIPs and/or ad hoc projects that border on workplace safety enhancement, automation, process steps elimination, Kaizen burst, value stream mapping, quality/PPM improvements, productivity gains, data analytics, data visualization, storage optimization.
Customer engagement through CIP, project related and OpEx meeting.
Develop, implement, sustain and improve the methods, tools, and standards of the LEAN system in all sections of the value streams.
Support LEAN work practices including 6S, problem-solving root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Challenge the status quo, assist the respective BU leads in CIP drive that focuses on eliminating of waste.
Likelihood of working on multiple CIPs and/or ad hoc projects at any one time, whilst adhering to project timelines.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Logistics or other related discipline
Contract logistics background preferred.
In depth practical experience of LEAN, 6S, Standardized Work, Problem Solving, VSM, Kaizen with evidence of how CIP has delivered real sustainable results.
