Job Description

This position is the Leader of the Strategic Procurement team, located in Singapore, with global Procurement responsibility for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and Video, Security and Access Control (VSA).

Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate cross-functional team leadership, working closely with Product Management, Product Design, Technical and Business Development to achieve results.
  2. Provide guidance on procurement planning: determining appropriate procurement method, contract preparation, development, award, administration, and termination.
  3. Perform market research/analysis to determine availability of the requirement, analyze market trends, commercial practices, conditions and technological advances and determine the sources to be solicited.
  4. Develop and execute cohesive strategies, focusing on developing strategies for current and future supply needs, resiliency, market trends, government regulations, and business environments.
  5. Lead a team of subject matter experts through operations and supply processes, including forecasting, sourcing, compliance, quality, and contracting.
  6. Invent and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to support growth and scale with global reach.
  7. Establish and maintain executive presence across Quality, Finance, Product, and Sales organizations.
  8. Advance governance around best practices and procurement policies.
  9. Institute procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics.
  10. Lead a team of individual contributors.
  11. Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  2. 5 plus years of executive leadership experience.
  3. Department management experience including recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
  4. Global responsibility and vision for Supply Chain and Procurement.
  5. Strong managerial and negotiation skills.
  6. Industry experience in Electronics Manufacturing or similar, particularly in the Semiconductor space.
  7. Experience leading complex end-to-end RF(x) processes.
  8. Ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
  9. Must reside in Singapore to be considered for this position.
