Sr. Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents and providing holistic risk assessment and suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company.
2. Assist in the negotiation of investment contracts and agreements, and support in a variety of transactional and corporate governance initiatives.
3. Liaise with regulatory bodies and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and licenses.
4. Navigate licensing requirements for crypto-related activities, such as cryptocurrency exchanges or wallet services.
5. Monitor and interpret evolving regulations and guidelines in the crypto and blockchain space.

1. Bachelor’s or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in the bar.
2. 3 - 6 years of experience in legal roles, with a strong emphasis on crypto and blockchain matters.
3. In-depth understanding of cryptocurrency technologies, blockchain, and related legal issues.
4. Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
5. Excellent communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
6. Ability to adapt quickly to changing regulatory landscapes and provide proactive legal guidance.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
8. Experience with crypto exchanges, wallet services, or blockchain startups (preferred).
