Our client is a leading provider of business intelligence solutions and they are looking for an experienced and motivated Event Sponsorship Sales Director to join their team and help drive the success of their events.

As the Event Sponsorship Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and managing relationships with potential sponsors. You will be responsible for developing and executing the sponsorship sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities and ensuring that the sponsors receive outstanding value from their partnership. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen and relationship-building skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy for the events ensuring revenue growth and meeting targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential sponsor organizations, including C-level executives and senior managers.
  • Keep up with industry trends and market changes.
  • Identify and pursue new sponsorship opportunities by researching potential partners, attending industry events, and utilizing networking tools.
  • Lead negotiations, close sponsorship deals and manage contracts.

Your Profile:

  • A Bachelor degree with at least 6-8 years of experience in event sponsorship preferably related to the Financial Services Industry.
  • A successful track record in sales, particularly within event sponsorship, B2B sales, or business development roles (ideally in the business intelligence, tech, or data sectors).
  • Ability to understand client needs, create value propositions, and close large-scale sponsorship deals.
  • A strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to identify trends, opportunities, and new business avenues in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with event management and an understanding of how to deliver high-impact sponsorships.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to lead and motivate internal teams and collaborators.
