A leading organization that supports post-stroke rehabilitation needs is currently seeking experienced candidates to join them as a Speech Therapist.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for clients.
• Devise outcome measures to evaluate therapy progress and outcomes in a timely manner to guide clinical decision making.
• Document assessment results, therapy plans, interventions, goals, and outcomes measures according to guidelines.
• Share assessment results, intervention plans, goals, outcomes, and discharge plans with clients and relevant stakeholders.
• Devise discharge and continuity of care plans based on clients’ performance in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Prescribe assistive devices and equipment according to clients’ needs.
• Mentor and supervise therapists and support staff for professional development.
• Plan induction and clinical orientation for new team members.
• Identify safety risks and issues, recommending preventive and corrective care measures.
• Oversee inventory management and equipment maintenance required for therapy services.
• Perform audits and review audit findings at the team level.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or its equivalent.
• Must be fully registered with AHPC.
