Specialist WSHC - Tunnel & LTA Safety

Job Scope

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive safety management plans for construction projects, with a focus on tunnel and LTA (Land Transport Authority) safety protocols
2. Conducting regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards
3. Providing training and guidance to project teams to promote a strong safety culture
4. Investigating incidents and accidents, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions
5. Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
7. Preparing detailed reports and safety documentation as required

Requirements

1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Safety Specialist, preferably in the construction industry
2. Strong understanding of workplace safety and health regulations, with a specific focus on tunnel and LTA safety requirements
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and train others
4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and mitigate safety risks
5. Familiarity with construction project management and a good understanding of construction processes
6. Relevant safety qualifications, such as WSHC (Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator) certification
