Job Description

We are looking for a Renewal Sales Representative to join our team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Renewal Sales Representative role will focus on account management and sales renewals where you will generate new revenue as part of an inside sales team. Responsible for Greater China (GCR: Mainland China or Hong Kong) customer revenue growth respectively, you will articulate the value of products or services to customers and be accountable for revenue retention motions including product/service contract renewals, extension, upsell, and expansion.

As part of our organization’s growth, this is a permanent position where you get to develop a new technology business line as our organization expands the business. We’re looking for individuals who are curious with excellent communication and strong stakeholder skills. You would be comfortable in managing ambiguous situations and managing complex, deep relationships to help the customer uncover challenges while setting in place new processes and workflows.

Successful candidates are seasoned and experienced professionals that are excited to resolve a wide range of issues and handle objections in creative ways. You will cultivate deeper relationships across longer sales cycles with prospect contacts across various organizational levels. In addition to revenue generation sales, you will provide accurate sales forecasting, generate customer quotes, perform customer research, and update account notes in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.

As a Renewal Sales Representative in our team, you will:

  • Provide renewal selling services or solutions to a dedicated territory in GCR region, specifically for Hong Kong or Mainland China.
  • Candidates with strong proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and a deep understanding of the GCR/Hong Kong and Mainland China market, either through cultural exposure or business experience, are encouraged to apply. This role requires effective business communication tailored to the nuances of each territory.
  • Be a strategic thinker with an appreciation of complex selling cycles and the ability to engage at the executive level.
  • Employ a strong consultative approach to engage clients and prospects.
  • Be result-driven with a strong track record in delivering sales targets.
  • Demonstrate aptitude to learn and optimize new technology and data.

We’ll be a great match if you have:

  • Experience working with complex and large territory/account, products/services, sales or account management processes and may serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to understand and capture the Voice of the Customer for assigned clients.
  • Capability to respond to customer inquiries by following standard scripts and procedures.
  • Confirmation of commitment to client’s maintenance contracts and working towards assigned contract revenue goals.
  • Ability to create a sales funnel that can support overall quota attainment.
  • Experience making and receiving calls with the intent of selling products/services or renewing existing contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed quota targets and activity metrics within assigned accounts/territory.
  • Skill in converting small starting opportunities to significant sized opportunities over time.
  • Capability to provide accurate weekly/monthly/quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Ability to undertake research to understand prospect organization structures and identify important players.
  • Skill in assessing client needs, requirements, and facts to adequately recommend satisfactory product solutions.
  • Experience working on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Development of excellent technical knowledge needed for value proposition and solution selling.
  • Ability to collate and deliver executive-level presentations.
  • Skill in assessing competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities and leads.
  • Maintenance of the CRM to ensure all relevant data is captured promptly.
