Specialist Professional Engineer (SPE) - Mechanical - Professional Examiner Role

Special Requirements:

• Certification: Must possess a Professional Examiner Certificate accredited by MOM.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in ASME, ISO, and local safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct statutory inspections of [Crane / Pressure Vessel / Lift & Escalator / Access Platform] systems in accordance with MOM and BCA regulations.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive inspection reports, ensuring all documentation is thorough and accurate.
• Provide expert advice on safety compliance, necessary corrective actions, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to effectively schedule and execute inspections.
• Stay informed on the latest industry regulations, safety standards, and technological advancements.
• Mentor junior engineers and inspection teams, fostering professional development and technical expertise.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Registered as a Specialist Professional Engineer (SPE) with the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore, in one or more of the following engineering disciplines:
  • Crane
  • Pressure Vessel
  • Lift & Escalator
  • Access Platform
• In-depth knowledge of MOM, BCA, SCDF, and NEA regulations, as well as safety standards.
• Familiarity with ASME, ISO, and local safety codes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client interaction skills.
