Purpose
The Specialist GBS HR Services role at adidas is crucial for managing various HR functions, particularly for foreign employees. This includes handling work permits, supporting entry approvals, renewals, and terminations, and scheduling interviews with related logistics. The role also involves tracking referrals, coordinating with vendors, providing finance support for billing and payments, and managing document preparation and filing.
Additionally, it requires following up on authorized signatures, responding to employee queries, and liaising with external parties such as tax authorities, banks, and government agencies. Collaboration with the GBS H2R Dalian team to ensure seamless HR process execution and addressing other ad-hoc business needs are also key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all administrative tasks of the defined services independently and achieve the SLA requirements.
- Handle the daily operation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure the process is implemented by following the standards completely.
- Ensure operation compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
- Liaise among local HR, TA team, GBS H2R Dalian team, Finance team, service vendors, and employees to ensure smooth communication & prompt resolution of all requests.
- Escalate the process risks and updates to line manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure the process-related documents are updated and submitted for review properly.
- Proactively identify process improvements to achieve employee satisfaction and higher efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications.
- Experience with business computing solutions, ideally also with SuccessFactors.
- Subject matter expert in cross-border employment related processes and logistics.
- Good knowledge and experience in government portal usage and policy.
- Good service mindset, people focus, and self-motivated.
- Strong mindset in process improvement and continuous efficiency.
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and well organized.
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar function for a multi-national company.
Education
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
Regional Knowledge
- Best knowledge of country business needs, company policy, local labor law, and HR regulations.
Language Skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
