Job description
  • Perform checks on diet texture and actively participate in daily belting & dishing, ensuring all foods establish portion sizes are adhered to.
  • Communicate and work closely with QA executive, speech therapist, and dietitian, ensuring special diet requests are well translated and executed as per diet orders.
  • Constantly look out for damaged or soiled utensils to ensure they are not used, particularly for cracked or chipped casserole bowls.
  • Handle patients' diet chits diligently and convey messages to fellow chefs, following up and responding as appropriate. Inform any discrepancies immediately to the RO.
  • Schedule working hours of all kitchen employees and ensure daily operational needs are achieved. Keep the kitchen area clean and safe, organizing and conducting roll calls and training for cooking methods and best practices.

Requirement

  • Any Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years in non-halal kitchen experience
