About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at The Penthouse Grp Pte Ltd as a Sous Chef. As a full-time role based in the Central Region, you will play a vital part in the running of the kitchen, assisting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to create and refine innovative menu items
• Supervising and training a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff
• Maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to keep the kitchen well-stocked
• Troubleshooting any issues that arise in the kitchen and finding effective solutions

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior culinary role
• A passion for creating delectable dishes and an eye for detail
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• A deep understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• The drive to continuously learn and improve your culinary skills
