Software Engineer (Taiwan)

SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Motion Control/ Automation/ Semiconductor Machine)

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines. One of their divisions currently has an opening for Software Engineer.

This position will be based in Taiwan (Hsinchu) to serve the Semiconductor customers in Hsinchu. It is a hybrid role (50% work from home, 50% work at customer site).

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control software for automated semiconductor equipment and vision inspection machines in Taiwan (Hsinchu).
• Continuous improvements on existing and new products.
• Support fieldwork to upgrade and resolve customer issues.
• Interface with HQ in Singapore on software protocols and other engineering support issues.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Studies or equivalent.
• 1 - 3 years experience in developing software for machines.
• Experience in VC++, MFC, SQL, and OOP.
• Good knowledge in developing multi-threaded control software.
• Hardware experience in using servo, stepper motion controllers, analog devices, and high-speed I/O. Experience in Machine Vision is an added advantage.
