Are you passionate about designing and building high-quality software solutions while balancing time to market and scalability? Are you ready to embark on a growth journey with your next role? We might have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our newly established power trading team in Singapore. As the first Software Engineer in the team based in Singapore, you will have a key role in building IT solutions for our APAC business.
The Journey
Since 2017, we have been on a journey with the clear goal of rethinking energy trading and organizational culture. A core element in this journey is to rethink how data and technology are central part of our business, and we call this beautiful mix of energy and technology 'EnergyTech'. We have been very successful with our business in Europe and US, and in 2024, we expanded our journey to APAC and with offices in Singapore and Tokyo.
Now, we are looking to further grow our APAC team with a Software Engineer. Your primary role will be to contribute to establishing InCommodities APAC’s software solutions. As we are in a build-up phase, the role will cover a wide range of tasks from being both very operational as well as looking into the broader scope and ensure the developed solutions are aligned with our strategic direction. You will be working alongside experienced traders, and through collaboration with end-users, you will experience first-hand the impact and difference your work makes.
