The Role

The client is the world leading semiconductor fabrication provider with presence in Singapore for over 20 years. We’re searching for an Engineer to be part of our Automation & System Department diverse team of talent.

Working Pattern: Work From Home (Remote Work)

Responsibilities:

1. Investigate, analyze production line operation issues, develop solutions to system-related problems.
2. Develop technical or training material as required.
3. Involve in user/vendors discussion and brainstorming sessions.
4. Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, implement, and optimize.
5. Document design specifications, user acceptance tests, and release.
6. Analyze and implement improvement opportunities to enhance PROMIS system in support of business strategy.
7. Provide cross-functional leadership (for senior position) and vendor interaction to troubleshoot, analyze, and develop solutions for problems involving integrated systems.
8. Provide training to enable 1st line support equipped with appropriate knowledge/skills to provide frontline operation support for production.

Ideal Profile

1. Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent fields.
2. Familiar with dot.net.
3. Familiar with SECS / GEM Protocol; Semiconductor experience.
4. Database knowledge (SQL commands, data accessing, etc.).
5. Familiar with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process.
6. Linux scripting knowledge.
7. Familiar with GUI, Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash will be an advantage.
