Responsibilities

1. To work on the design, architecture and building of enterprise systems;
2. To work on the building of tools, reports, and feeds to fulfil business requirements from the trading, operations and risk teams of the company;
3. To be responsible for software quality, efficiency, cost and operational resiliency;
4. To participate actively in cross-company technology efforts to achieve various business and/or operational goals, as the need arises;
5. To work closely with the various Heads of business lines and front office trading in the proper implementation and effective maintenance of various systems.

Requirements

1. At least 2 years of experience working in a technical role.
2. Bachelor's or postgrad from a renowned University in a related field.
3. AWS certification a distinct advantage.
4. Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
5. Ideal candidates will possess the following skillsets:
1. Experience in a cloud environment.
2. Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
3. Software architecture and design.
4. Cloud infrastructure (AWS or other major cloud platforms).
5. Extensive Java experience is beneficial but not a requisite (ideally including Spring Boot).
6. Database design and management (ideally PostgreSQL).
7. Queue-based systems (Ideally Kafka).
8. Running agile software development teams (Scrum, JIRA and Atlassian suite).
9. Testing approach and implementation (Unit/integration testing, Functional testing).
10. DevOps experience (CI/CD pipeline development, Containerised systems, Automated deployment).
