Software Engineer, Front End

Meta is seeking experienced Front End Software Engineers to join our product teams. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in crafting user experiences that are both delightful and effective, helping to scale the company and enhance employee productivity. Our product teams are responsible for building and maintaining a wide range of internal tools and applications that help Meta employees do their jobs more efficiently and effectively. As a Front End Software Engineer at Meta, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that make it easy for employees to access the information and tools they need to do their jobs. You'll work closely with our product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to ensure that our products are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and scalable.

Software Engineer, Front End Responsibilities

1. Build front-end frameworks that will allow other product teams to build faster and with higher quality.
2. Implement the features and user interfaces of enterprise products that are used by the entire company.
3. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
4. Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
5. Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Experience in writing reusable and high-performance user interface components.
2. Experience in architectural design for complex front-end systems.
3. Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
4. Experience in performance debugging and benchmarking.
5. Experience building web applications.
6. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
7. Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with React.
