Software Engineer (ERP/SDLC)

Our client is a leading logistics company. They are looking for a Software Engineer to assist their IT team for the next phase of their business. They are located at West of Singapore – easily accessible. The Software Engineer is responsible for:

Duties

1. Assist in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system analysis, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), maintenance, and ongoing support.
2. Contribute to Agile development processes and demonstrate familiarity with DevOps practices.
3. Provide training to users to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of the system.
4. Analyze business processes to improve system efficiency and align functionalities with organizational goals.
5. Collect and document system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and maintaining data integrity for system enhancements.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot ERP system issues and improve data exchange with external systems.
7. Customize and configure the ERP system to meet business needs, including implementing security access controls.
8. Develop reports, dashboards, and custom solutions using relevant tools and frameworks to support system performance analysis and insights.
9. Stay updated on system updates, industry best practices, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
10. Any adhoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or related field
2. Min 3 years of experience in full stack software development, including 3 cycles of implementation
3. Proven expertise in ERP system support, analysis and customization
4. Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency in SQL and database management
5. Proficiency in specific ERP development tools and frameworks (e.g., BAQS, Dashboards, BPMs, UD fields)
6. Experienced in developing applications using .NET Framework, C# will be preferred
7. Experience with Epicor, Navision and Microsoft development technologies like C/AL, Dynamics NAV/ Business Central, .NET and Azure will be an advantage
