Software Engineer - Commodities

Industry-leading investment firm using innovative and cutting-edge technology, with data at the core of the investment process. They are seeking top-level software engineers - well-versed in Python - to join their Commodities team where you'll focus on developing core analytics and delivering key initiatives for the business.

Within this hands-on role, you'll collaborate with trading, research and data teams to understand business challenges and design technical/quantitative solutions. This will involve working with large datasets, building data analytics trading tools and improving model frameworks and performance.

The successful candidate will have fantastic technology skills, ideally in multiple programming languages.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 - 7 years of software engineering experience
• Fluent in Python (or comparable language)
• Minimum BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering; or equivalent experience
• Experience with complex, multi-site systems architectures, strong Unix operating system
• Exposure to a variety of database technologies
