Software Engineer (Backend Developer)

We’re seeking technology and domain leaders to join our development team within WMPC (Wealth Management Personal Corporate). We are looking for someone who:

2. Manages and 'owns' significant development tasks end-to-end.
3. Demonstrates superior collaboration skills in working closely with other development, testing, and implementation teams to roll-out important regulatory and business improvement programs.
4. Is a team player and highly collaborative. You will be working closely with other developers, requirement analysts, and testers.
5. Has a general ability to pick up information quickly and turn around deliverables under strict time and quality constraints.

Your team:

You'll be working in the Touchpoint team in Singapore, which specializes in client communications. You will be working with local and global developers, and business across APAC and Switzerland.

Your expertise:

1. Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise application and system design with OOA/OOD, UML Modeling.
2. Strong programming experience in Java 8 and above, Application Server/Tomcat in Linux, Windows platforms, Spring Boot, Spring MVC frameworks, Hibernate, Junit, Test Driven Development (TDD), Maven, git, and Gitlab pipeline.
3. Strong experience in UI frameworks, e.g., React and Angular.
4. Sound knowledge of Spring security framework’s authentication and authorization and resolving application security issues identified.
5. Working experience in designing and developing microservices, Ansible playbook for deployment, multi-threaded design, batch systems, and database design.
6. Good to have skills: knowledge of Liquibase, PostgreSQL DB, MQ, Apigee, Azure cloud, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ACI), Bash script.
7. Strong in writing detailed technical documentation (especially on setting up of dev/test environment for the team).
