Software Engineer

Summary

This role involves designing and maintaining automation within SIAM to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive productivity. The ideal candidate will conduct rigorous testing to ensure application availability and performance while collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and implement solutions with precision.

Responsibilities

• Create advanced analytics applications to monitor end user devices, remediate issues, and enhance compliance.
• Design and maintain automations that streamline operations within SIAM, boosting efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct rigorous testing to guarantee the availability and performance of developed applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and bring them to life with precision.
• Manage technical tasks and schedules meticulously to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development and delivery.
• Familiarity with end user analytics tools/platforms and dashboarding.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Typescript/Javascript, or C#.
• Proficiency with analytics visualization, either building on React/Angular or using popular tools like Grafana or Kibana.
• Familiarity with (REST) API integrations.
• Experience in PowerShell and Nexthink is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Agile and TDD methodologies is advantageous.
• Good presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
