Software Developer - M.Dai

Our technology department is on the lookout for proactive individuals eager to be part of a growing team that’s focused on building and enhancing in-house tech capabilities. This team plays a key role in refining current business systems and introducing new digital tools to better engage with candidates, clients, and contractors throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take ownership of specific system components, including their maintenance and occasional redevelopment, to ensure smooth performance of the internal platform.
2. Act as a second-level support contact—investigating user-reported issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and documenting findings.
3. Use your backend development expertise to build and maintain RESTful services, primarily using C# on the .NET Core framework.
4. Work regularly with MS SQL Server, leveraging Entity Framework for data access and manipulation.
5. Communicate with end-users (remotely), gather feedback, and escalate more complex issues to the senior engineering team when needed.
6. As you grow more familiar with the system and its architecture, you'll have chances to contribute to system upgrades and new feature rollouts.

Requirements:

1. Hands-on experience in .NET C# web development
2. Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs
3. Working knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping tools like Entity Framework
4. Exposure to frontend frameworks (Angular, VueJS, or React with TypeScript) is an advantage
5. Comfortable communicating in both English and Mandarin to work with regional teams & stakeholders
6. Strong team player who can also operate independently when needed
