Software Developer / Engineer (Java- Risk Enterprise applications)

*Seeking for a Software Developer with minimum 4 years of Software Development skills in Risk Enterprise Applications using Java*

THE COMPANY

Poised with solid growth plans, the company is expanding their foothold in the market. Currently, the company seeks a Software Developer to be part of their IT team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Understand business users’ requirements
2. Recommend software solutions to resolve users’ requests (Traders and Risk Analysts)
3. Create and develop Risk Enterprise applications (Risk reporting, pricing, metrics, etc.)
4. Participate in other IT projects
5. Work closely with other business and internal/external stakeholders e.g. IT vendor/IT team etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in IT/Information Security/Computer Science or any other relevant education
2. Minimum 4 years of Software Development skills in Risk Management/Enterprise Applications (Java)
3. Knowledge in the IT skill sets:

• SQL and relational database experience
• Development tools e.g. Gitlab, Docker, JIRA, Prometheus, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Kibana, Junit
• Cloud - Azure or AWS (Hybrid environment)
• Service oriented technologies e.g. JSON, Drop Wizard, Spring Boot, Protobuf, REST
• Web development using modern frameworks - ReactJS

Independent, highly analytical, proactive, and has good communication and interpersonal skills.
