Position Overview for Software Developer
We are seeking a Software Developer dedicated to revolutionising the healthcare industry by developing and supporting advanced applications for companies running clinics. This role spans the creation and maintenance of clinic software, including web services and APIs, to significantly improve patient care and streamline operational processes across logistics, CMS, human resources (HR), and more. The successful candidate will support the Head of IT in project planning, explore innovative software solutions, manage application support across all levels, and ensure system security and compliance. Additionally, this role demands the ability to produce crucial system development documentation from technical specifications to user manuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project planning and collaborate closely with project managers.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain comprehensive clinic software and related services.
- Innovate to enhance patient care and operational efficiency across headquarters and clinics.
- Provide multi-tiered application support, from troubleshooting to solving complex technical issues.
- Recommend strategies to boost application performance.
- Ensure all systems are secure, compliant, and adhere to best development practices.
- Generate essential system development documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
- Use agile methods, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly to meet project deadlines.
- A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to clean coding, rigorous testing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 3 years of experience in programming with expertise in ASP.NET, Entity Framework, MVC, C#, VB.NET, Javascript, AJAX.
- Proficiency in MSSQL and experience with database management and query optimization.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Experience with cloud services and their integration into projects.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry is highly valued.
- Availability to support systems during clinic operational hours.
