About the role
We are looking to hire a skilled Software Developer to join our Business Applications team in Singapore, reporting to the Team Lead.

You will be joining a growing team of passionate tech-savvy people eager to improve the inner workings of the business through various technical and IT solutions of different scales. Together, we raise the bar and build state-of-the-art system features that enable colleagues in operations to improve efficiency and quality of their work.

Furthermore, you will be collaborating with various internal stakeholders in Operations and Client Services as well as product owners and analysts for different solutions across the business to ensure end-to-end delivery of new functionalities.

What you will be doing

1. Build solutions in our .Net/C# framework
2. Support on ad hoc requests for smaller technical solutions
3. Take part in shaping and improving the tech stack
4. Challenge existing business processes
5. Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders on deliveries

What we are looking for
To be the right candidate for this position, we expect you to have a relevant educational background and a demonstrated capability from an applicable role where you have gained a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Software Developer. Extensive experience in C# and SQL is essential. While not required, it would be beneficial if you have experience with the Azure Portal and familiarity with Kubernetes.

The ideal candidate is dependable, approachable, self-driven, proactive, and confident in collaborating with colleagues and internal customers, while also constructively challenging ideas to drive the best solutions. Additionally, you enjoy and thrive in working in the area between technology and business processes. You should be able to understand business processes, developing a clear end-to-end view of what’s being done, why it matters, and how you can help improve it.

As Banking Circle is an international company, it is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, traveling between locations will be required from time to time.

The position will be based at Banking Circle’s Office in Singapore.
