Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to address complex business issues, and providing technical leadership within the IT department.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and provide support for all systems integration, including PL/SQL and shell scripting.
2. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PL/SQL code.
3. Deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative and rapidly changing environment.
4. Develop and implement data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes.
5. Understanding the needs and requirements of the clients by coordinating with their representatives and seeking clarity on every minute detail in order to provide the best possible solution.
6. Analyzing the data needs and requirements of the clients and providing them with the best solutions.
7. Conducting analysis of the functionality of the systems that are based on Oracle and other platforms.
8. Use Control-M for job scheduling and application integration.
9. Use Aldon for change management in IBM i systems.

Educational Qualification:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a minimum of 9+ years of experience in a similar role. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications will be considered as an added advantage.

Required Skills:

1. Proven experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
2. Strong knowledge of SQL and how to write complex queries.
3. Familiarity with Dimensional Modelling concepts.
4. Proficient in Shell scripting.
5. Experience with job scheduling tools like Control-M.
6. Experience with change management tools like Aldon.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Good knowledge of Oracle performance tuning.
