DESIGNATION: Social Worker/Case Worker

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate change and improve lives for individuals, families, and communities facing transitional challenges through the provision of casework and counselling.
• Conduct casework management, including gathering information, conducting psycho-social assessment, identifying common needs and goals for intervention.
• Provide casework and counselling to clients.
• Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes, and group work.
• Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigation and intervention programmes.
• Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services.
• Participate in research.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Social Work or a relevant degree in social sciences or related discipline(s) (e.g. psychology).

OTHER INFORMATION:

Relevant Experience:

• Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage.
• Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage.
• Trained in Asset based community development (ABCD) would be an advantage.
