DESIGNATION: Social Worker/Case Worker
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate change and improve lives for individuals, families, and communities facing transitional challenges through the provision of casework and counselling.
- Conduct casework management, including gathering information, conducting psycho-social assessment, identifying common needs and goals for intervention.
- Provide casework and counselling to clients.
- Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes, and group work.
- Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigation and intervention programmes.
- Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services.
- Participate in research.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess Bachelor Degree in Social Work or a relevant degree in social sciences or related discipline(s) (e.g. psychology).
OTHER INFORMATION:
Relevant Experience:
- Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage.
- Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage.
- Trained in Asset based community development (ABCD) would be an advantage.
