Engage community partners, volunteers and employees to run outreach programmes for migrant workers in dormitories, recreation centres, and other facilities.
Plan and coordinate with corporate partners, volunteers and student groups, while identifying new platforms for outreach.
Support programme evaluation, reporting, and standard operating procedures review to ensure service quality.
Maintain relationships with stakeholders, assist casework, and help with daily operations.
Implement case plans, community development projects, and group interventions.
Conduct assessments, maintain case notes, and review interventions to improve outcomes, while collaborating with other agencies to pool resources.
Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in case work, social services or a related field.
Intermediate understanding of social work theories, ethics, casework, group work, and community development.
Proficiency in social work interventions and programs through targeted activities.
Ministry of Manpower regulations and social policies affecting migrant workers community.
Ability to speak Tamil and Bengali is advantageous in order to communicate with the migrant worker community who are mostly from India and Bangladesh.
Skills
Casework & group work management by assessing client needs, developing care plans, and facilitating therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.
Accurately complete and maintain required documents such as intervention plans, progress reports and case notes.
Experience
Hands-on experience in managing social work interventions, both in individual and group settings.
Conducting casework, group work, and evaluating community development activities to improve service delivery and meet the needs of the migrant worker community.
