Social Worker

We are looking for a dedicated Social Worker to join The Helping Hand team. In this role, you will support individuals struggling with addiction and trauma, providing holistic interventions to aid their rehabilitation and reintegration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide case management and counseling, conduct home and site visits, and perform interview assessments.
• Design, implement, and evaluate programs tailored to beneficiaries’ needs to support their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal teams to ensure effective service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, client profiles, and documentation for casework management.
• Compile and analyze data for reporting, funding applications, and audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Social Work Manager to support the organization’s mission.

Requirements:

• Recognized Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field.
• Accreditation with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) as a Social Worker or Social Service Practitioner is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in case management, counseling, or rehabilitation work.
• Experience in family intervention is an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
